Anytime I’ve Visited Letchworth State Park, the sight is alluring. Whether you’re going for a hike, attending a wedding, or camping, you always leave feeling captured and ready to go back. If you’re lucky enough, you may even witness a hot air balloon ride take place. I had the pleasure of taking my mother on that exact one shown in the piece. Highly recommend.
This 11”x14” painting is composed on a 140lb cold pressed Arches watercolor paper. The primary medium is watercolor, but I’ve used a generous amount of gouache for detailing, such as the mist you see on the lower falls. Additionally, there is a heavy amount of acrylic paint pen for the line work.
The original is matted with a mushroom/taupe color, black frame, sizing out to 18”x24” approximately.
Each matted piece is assembled with a white mat board. Sizing can be found on the backing board.
