It’s taken months to draw layers upon layers for the design, tweaking samples and ensuring the right and best quality for these - all made locally in Buffalo too! When Kim, Owner of @readitandeatbuf told me about her NEW SHOP COMING TO WILLIAMSVILLE, I was PUMPED. I was even more flabbergasted when she asked me to create pieces in celebration of her new flagship. I can’t believe I have the honor and priveledge of designing exclusive postcards and prints of her new, beloved storefront. This was a loose depiction of the upcoming storefront. One fun detail on the illustration is the words “read it’s and eat” and “books” - it’s very hard to see in the trees! These postcards feature her branding colors, which I beyond adore. My favorite is the green. They look great in a frame. I’m also a BIG fan of the 5”x7” prints she opted in for. They have literally the most sturdy paper, with a beautiful core blue. I’m so incredibly thankful for Kim trusting me with the vision.

As we approach our home opener at our new Highmark Stadium, I wanted to finally release these postcards inspired by our public art project. You’ll notice this is a little nod to the scene 5 of our collabation where the couple (aka Paul and Nancy) are cute snowbirds getting one of these down in the Florida weather. This is a little @akasyac appreciation post… plus we look hella cute so let me just share the whole photoshoot. Akasya has been a literal blessing to know as a friend and an artist. I remember meeting her a few years ago at similar shows and have always seen her stuff at @buffaloshopcraft. She was honestly considered the coolest cat in my eyes… always considered wickedly creative, hilarious and iconic. She really feels like the representation of our slogan “The City of Good Neighbors”. I’ve always admired her and really felt one day we should connect on a creative level (and obvi friendship level). As soon as the @buffalobills posted their public call to action on creating work for the @highmark_stadium I remember I was sitting at my desk and thought “I really would love to partner with Akasya on it”. I’ve reached out to her that night, ~the rest was HERstory~ (inside joke) This last year and a half have given me the opportunity to work along side of Akasya, understanding how her brain works, her impeccable taste in memes, podcasts and general stimming noises have all shaped loving her even more as a friend and a partner in this community. She really has taught me how to work alongside another artist, trying to merge ideas together. Her willingness to let me use my parents as the prime “characters” to this series was even more of a blessing. Akasya would come over my house to help draft out physical and digital drawings, while we shuffled through childhood family photos of hers and mine. Without her, this project would not have succeeded. I am so proud of both of us. I am so happy to work with her and so many others in this community. A doggy filled day - consisting of my “Pretty Darn Quick” pet portraits at @loungeshopbuf last Saturday, along with walks and playtime. We were able to donate $175 to the @cityofbuffaloanimalshelter for on the spot time slots and some post event painted pieces. Thank you everyone for allowing me to create your beautiful pets. We are SO BACK FOR BILLS SEASON BABY. These ornaments are ILLUSTRATED BY YA GIRL, DA ONE AND ONLY ROAMING BUFFALO ART. Place beautifully on slabs of wood made locally. I decided to test it out in a light maple and dark walnut, similar to our Ralph piece last year. This has taken months of designing, pushing it off, asking clients for opinions and now it’s finally coming together! Love when I get a text that says “Meet me at Mojo!” This was a fun surprise for @_mojomarket_. I digitally illustrated some postcards where I pulled colors for their stunning mural, and interior colors. Kyle and her team have created such a wonderful space for folks to gather, eat the best meals, have some delicious drinks and support local artists - like my gals @tinybuffalodesigns @buffalobrushstrokesart Looking forward to working with them soon.

I had to wait to share this lovely piece as this was a commission set to be gifted by the Matthews, for their future October wedding! Thank you Taylor @_tdisarno15 for approaching me with this surprise, it was such a thoughtful idea! We made an 11”x14” fall version of the Buffalo History Museum, will be used as their wedding guest book. These projects are extremely special to me as they really feel unique. It was a pleasure working with Tom Barnett New York once again. This time, it feels extra special as my long time supporters Marisa and Conall got married in July, in IRELAND. This was a surprise for Marisa - Conall approached me in fall of 2025 with the ideas of combining not only beloved spots of Buffalo, but international spots of past and future dates, such as their wedding in Ireland and their celebration back home. Marisa and Conall have commissioned pieces from me before, bought multiple prints throughout the years. They truly feel like family and I am so blessed to have created for them. Collaborating with businesses is always feels rewarding. It can be a learning process, as each business has a different way of operating. Working with Sarah, Brette and Em have been a blast. Having the ability to have creative freedom while blending their products into my art has been a privilege to the buffalo community. I look forward to collaborating more with shops, other artists and everything in between.

A fun artifact at the @museumofthedog - The Queen Carousel Piece by the Looff Factory reminds me of my neighboring hometown of Tonawanda, which was once home to manufacturers such as Herschell-Spillman and Allan Herschell. Although Tonawanda did not manufacture Looff models, this artifact at the museum was still one I was thrilled to paint. My painting was created with watercolor, ink, and special gemstone paint, and measures 11” x 14”. Postcard versions are available exclusively at the AKC Museum of the Dog. This lovely artifact was gifted by Marie A. Moore and is certainly a perfect addition to the museum’s collection. Queen was originally painted with lighter features, but over time and through wear, the piece was restored. For example, her saddle was originally a pistachio green, but after restoration it became a deep emerald green. Queen is displayed beside a similar, smaller piece, the French Carousel Poodle, created by Devos Carousel Makers. This charming painted wood piece, circa 1923, was gifted to the museum by Tobin Fraley. I hope you love this piece just as much as I do. Here are some more details about the experience and artifacts at the @museumofthedog and what made them so interesting to recreate into take-home souvenirs. Slide 2/3 - “Queen”, is a beautiful, large artifact from 1890 created by the Looff Factory. Slide 4/5- The Victorian Style Dog House, Gift of the Estate of Lisolette Weber is a prime example of luxury in the 19th century. Although the artist is unknown, this Dog House was meant to fit a smaller breed, perfectly fit for a Chihuahua!. -Slide 6: Meet Molly, the Training Simulator. Molly is a digital, interactive exhibit where visitors can learn how to train a working dog. Molly is based on a real-life Labrador named River. Using motion-capture technology, River works behind the scenes to create an immersive experience that allows visitors to greet, signal, and give commands to Molly. -Slide 7: Find Your Match is another digital, interactive exhibit where you can discover your look-alike! Through the use of visual recognition software, you can find what breed looks most like you! This fun postcard features breeds such as Doberman, Pomeranian, and Bloodhound, but there are so many results in the software! - Slide 8: This dimensional structure is features right above one of the entrances of the AKC Museum, ready to greet you! This amazing metal piece was created by Yellow Goat Design - how cool to work with another business. All of these items are exclusively available at the AKC Museum of the Dog!

I have the pleasure of working with the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog, @museumofthedog, in NYC. If you know how much I love my dog and the pups of Western New York, you know that this was the perfect collaboration. I look forward to creating more things surrounding AKC Museum. “Western New York (WNY) One-Offs” are my interpretation of a one of a kind illustration focusing on a loose linework while still giving that fun, expressive detail into each landmark. There are no reproductions made, just simple scans for my personal files. I will not make the same exact drawing of one specific location, each piece is meant to highlight a different angle or view. I have not made two of the same building so far. I have the pleasure of selling the WNY One-Off of the Buffalo Bank at @beebesbuffalo @huntartgallery for the Group Exibition “Between Doorways: Downtown Buffalo” along with a colorful piece. On June 11, the Buffalo History Museum, @buffalohistorymuseum, will be hosting a special event, “Paint the Town”, where 3-4 of my pieces will be available for an art auction. It felt like a gift spending time with y’all for Week One of Makers & Shakers. Each show is a constant reminder to continue working on my art. Everyone shared amazing stories about their experiences in Buffalo, and how each piece felt like they were taking a bit of a memory home with them. I can’t wait to be there at Week Two, surrounded by another group of amazing small business owners.

This show started as a childhood memory shopping with my mom, now coming full circle to have the chance to showcase my art. I remember my first oil painting I sold, my first watercolor painting, my first commission. I get just as excited to frame the piece just as much as I love painting. Let’s talk wrapping: it’s the icing to the cake of gift giving. Whether you’re giving something small or life size, it’s all about getting them excited for what’s inside! I can say I’ve always wanted to make my present decorating top notch. When I was a teenager, I would go to the stamp my own wrapping paper on brown butcher paper, and slap a nicely tied bow. I’ve always imagined that one day I’d make my own, and here we are! My Western New York Wrapping paper was a start to capturing my paintings into simplified illustrations, captured digitally and arranged together to create a fun capture of 19 different landmarks from Niagara Falls, all the way over to Rochester. I currently sell them in two color ways, but they are available to suit a color combo of your choice - just inquire! I’ve now expended my line of gift giving through sticker sheets to keep track of who gets the coolest, local gifts. Cards to write something lovely in too! I feel like a reintroduction is needed with some new followers on my page! Meet the face behind The Roaming Buffalo Art, Samantha Domagala. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, but if you couldn’t tell - I’m still a resident of Western New York. My focus is to capture the nostalgia and joy of local landmarks and special spots. There’s places that held memorable moments for myself, my mom & dad, to serve reminders of places you’ve been, places you’re going, little nudges of “home”. This is not my sole full time job, but each day with the constant support serves as a constant push to continue to put in the hours and love into each new piece. Nikki was one of the first people to contact me regarding my wallpaper for her store opening @purpledoorknob.bflo on Elmwood Ave. Needless to say I was excited! We went over two different options with using her purple branding, and chose peel and stick. I remember going there the day she was ready to install, helping her with the process… it was a learning experience to say the least haha. I’m am forever thankful for the experience and her support!

Last night I went to bed thinking how happy I am to be in the City of Good Neighbors. Buffalo always carried a big spot in my heart and as this career expands more it continues to be a constant reminder that I am forever love my friends, family, my business buddies, and my clients. Just the other day visiting Letchworth State Park, I was chatting about my business to the store manager, and the next customer to check out was @rachaelherringtonn, who I’ve painted/drawn Henry multiple times for a couple of projects. Needless to say I was so thrilled when she had nothing but good things to say to the store owner. I can’t wait to continuing growing in this business while continuing to manage stronger relationships with my clients and my art/small business community. I hope everyone knows how valuable they are and how we need to stick together!

Thank you @buffalodesignandprinting for helping me quickly pull off a two day turnaround of my “Where Else Would You Rather Be?” wallpaper and lawn signs! @queen_city_canine has been a special place for my boy Broly and friend’s pups, so needless to say when they were hosting a Bills themed daycare this past Thursday, I jumped at the thought of bringing them a backdrop and items! Look at these adorable pups and details of the project!

Tomorrow is National Dog Day. A day of celebrating the pups we have, the ones we lost, the ones we’ve found, the rescued, the old, the new. Many beautiful souls painted, some with oil, some with watercolor, some you’ve painted in a class I’ve taught. There are plenty of pups I can’t wait to paint. I’m super thankful I’ve gotten the chance to paint, and continue to. Love your dogs. Love your neighbors dogs. Love that little one you see walking down the street.

Fighting back tears while I say hold your pets tight. We lost Angie today, suddenly. She was my childhood angel. She was the reason why I love dogs, why I love to paint them. Please hold your pets and never let them go.

Getting ready to finalize the pattern that has been a long time coming. There are just gaps to fill, may take some items out, may bring some in. There are a ton of talented folks who have already created an amazing patterns for products related to the bills, but I’m hoping you can see the personal touch and style I bring to this piece.

Lewiston Art Festival in College Alleyway back in 2016 was where I started to treat my art with pride and joy, it wasn’t until 2019 where I started taking it more seriously, applying to the “main strip of big league” businesses, now with a medium that I felt was challenging, but suited to my style. Lewiston had become a location for my success and growth as an artist, so I’ve decided to replicate a print of businesses and landmarks of the historical center street. I will have a small number of 11”x14” and 16”x20” prints available for the show.

I’m truly blown away by the love and support this community has shown for my artwork. Since 2018, my signature blend of bold linework, with loose watercolor has become the heart of my pieces. Today, my collection has grown over 100 shoppable piece - and counting! I still remember painting my Shea’s piece in Jeff’s old apartment on Elmwood, capturing the houses across the street, and even further back form that - painting in my childhood bedroom, making my European collection. Watercolor and illustration has challenged me, but it also helped me discover a style that now lives in so many of your homes. I’m endlessly grateful for each and every one of you, and I can’t wait to keep bringing more memorable places to life.

Tomorrow is my moms birthday, and I can’t thank her enough for all of the love, support, friendship and growth she’s given me. If you’ve met Nancy, you’d know she cares about each and every person she meets. She is selfless, putting everyone first before herself. Without her, I’d be lost. I wouldn’t be able to create. She is my best friend, she will always be. Happy (Early) Birthday Nanners!

Thank you to @loungeshopbuf for having me yesterday! I met so many wonderful folks, chatted with some clients who have supported me for a while, and got to pet some amazing dogs.
