It was a pleasure working with Tom Barnett New York once again. This time, it feels extra special as my long time supporters Marisa and Conall got married in July, in IRELAND. This was a surprise for Marisa - Conall approached me in fall of 2025 with the ideas of combining not only beloved spots of Buffalo, but international spots of past and future dates, such as their wedding in Ireland and their celebration back home. Collaborating with businesses is always feels rewarding. It can be a learning process, as each business has a different way of operating. Working with Sarah, Brette and Em have been a blast. Having the ability to have creative freedom while blending their products into my art has been a privilege to the buffalo community. A fun artifact at the @museumofthedog - The Queen Carousel Piece by the Looff Factory reminds me of my neighboring hometown of Tonawanda, which was once home to manufacturers such as Herschell-Spillman and Allan Herschell. Although Tonawanda did not manufacture Looff models, this artifact at the museum was still one I was thrilled to paint. My painting was created with watercolor, ink, and special gemstone paint, and measures 11” x 14”. Postcard versions are available exclusively at the AKC Museum of the Dog. This lovely artifact was gifted by Marie A. Moore and is certainly a perfect addition to the museum’s collection. Queen was originally painted with lighter features, but over time and through wear, the piece was restored. For example, her saddle was originally a pistachio green, but after restoration it became a deep emerald green. Queen is displayed beside a similar, smaller piece, the French Carousel Poodle, created by Devos Carousel Makers. This charming painted wood piece, circa 1923, was gifted to the museum by Tobin Fraley. I hope you love this piece just as much as I do. Here are some more details about the experience and artifacts at the @museumofthedog and what made them so interesting to recreate into take-home souvenirs. Slide 2/3 - “Queen”, is a beautiful, large artifact from 1890 created by the Looff Factory. Slide 4/5- The Victorian Style Dog House, Gift of the Estate of Lisolette Weber is a prime example of luxury in the 19th century. Although the artist is unknown, this Dog House was meant to fit a smaller breed, perfectly fit for a Chihuahua!. -Slide 6: Meet Molly, the Training Simulator. Molly is a digital, interactive exhibit where visitors can learn how to train a working dog. Molly is based on a real-life Labrador named River. Using motion-capture technology, River works behind the scenes to create an immersive experience that allows visitors to greet, signal, and give commands to Molly. -Slide 7: Find Your Match is another digital, interactive exhibit where you can discover your look-alike! Through the use of visual recognition software, you can find what breed looks most like you! This fun postcard features breeds such as Doberman, Pomeranian, and Bloodhound, but there are so many results in the software! - Slide 8: This dimensional structure is features right above one of the entrances of the AKC Museum, ready to greet you! This amazing metal piece was created by Yellow Goat Design - how cool to work with another business. All of these items are exclusively available at the AKC Museum of the Dog!

I have the pleasure of working with the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog, @museumofthedog, in NYC. If you know how much I love my dog and the pups of Western New York, you know that this was the perfect collaboration. I look forward to creating more things surrounding AKC Museum. “Western New York (WNY) One-Offs” are my interpretation of a one of a kind illustration focusing on a loose linework while still giving that fun, expressive detail into each landmark. There are no reproductions made, just simple scans for my personal files. I will not make the same exact drawing of one specific location, each piece is meant to highlight a different angle or view. I have not made two of the same building so far. I have the pleasure of selling the WNY One-Off of the Buffalo Bank at @beebesbuffalo @huntartgallery for the Group Exibition “Between Doorways: Downtown Buffalo” along with a colorful piece. On June 11, the Buffalo History Museum, @buffalohistorymuseum, will be hosting a special event, “Paint the Town”, where 3-4 of my pieces will be available for an art auction. It felt like a gift spending time with y’all for Week One of Makers & Shakers. Each show is a constant reminder to continue working on my art. Everyone shared amazing stories about their experiences in Buffalo, and how each piece felt like they were taking a bit of a memory home with them. This show started as a childhood memory shopping with my mom, now coming full circle to have the chance to showcase my art. Let’s talk wrapping: it’s the icing to the cake of gift giving. Whether you’re giving something small or life size, it’s all about getting them excited for what’s inside! I can say I’ve always wanted to make my present decorating top notch. When I was a teenager, I would go to the stamp my own wrapping paper on brown butcher paper, and slap a nicely tied bow. I’ve always imagined that one day I’d make my own, and here we are! My Western New York Wrapping paper was a start to capturing my paintings into simplified illustrations, captured digitally and arranged together to create a fun capture of 19 different landmarks from Niagara Falls, all the way over to Rochester. I currently sell them in two color ways, but they are available to suit a color combo of your choice - just inquire! I’ve now expended my line of gift giving through sticker sheets to keep track of who gets the coolest, local gifts. Cards to write something lovely in too! Nikki was one of the first people to contact me regarding my wallpaper for her store opening @purpledoorknob.bflo on Elmwood Ave. Needless to say I was excited! We went over two different options with using her purple branding, and chose peel and stick. I remember going there the day she was ready to install, helping her with the process… it was a learning experience to say the least haha. I’m am forever thankful for the experience and her support!

Last night I went to bed thinking how happy I am to be in the City of Good Neighbors. Buffalo always carried a big spot in my heart and as this career expands more it continues to be a constant reminder that I am forever love my friends, family, my business buddies, and my clients. Just the other day visiting Letchworth State Park, I was chatting about my business to the store manager, and the next customer to check out was @rachaelherringtonn, who I’ve painted/drawn Henry multiple times for a couple of projects. Needless to say I was so thrilled when she had nothing but good things to say to the store owner. I can’t wait to continuing growing in this business while continuing to manage stronger relationships with my clients and my art/small business community. I hope everyone knows how valuable they are and how we need to stick together!

Tomorrow is National Dog Day. A day of celebrating the pups we have, the ones we lost, the ones we’ve found, the rescued, the old, the new. Many beautiful souls painted, some with oil, some with watercolor, some you’ve painted in a class I’ve taught. There are plenty of pups I can’t wait to paint. I’m super thankful I’ve gotten the chance to paint, and continue to. Love your dogs. Love your neighbors dogs. Love that little one you see walking down the street.

Fighting back tears while I say hold your pets tight. We lost Angie today, suddenly. She was my childhood angel. She was the reason why I love dogs, why I love to paint them. Please hold your pets and never let them go.

Lewiston Art Festival in College Alleyway back in 2016 was where I started to treat my art with pride and joy, it wasn’t until 2019 where I started taking it more seriously, applying to the “main strip of big league” businesses, now with a medium that I felt was challenging, but suited to my style. Lewiston had become a location for my success and growth as an artist, so I’ve decided to replicate a print of businesses and landmarks of the historical center street. I will have a small number of 11”x14” and 16”x20” prints available for the show.

I’m truly blown away by the love and support this community has shown for my artwork. Since 2018, my signature blend of bold linework, with loose watercolor has become the heart of my pieces. Today, my collection has grown over 100 shoppable piece - and counting! I still remember painting my Shea’s piece in Jeff’s old apartment on Elmwood, capturing the houses across the street, and even further back form that - painting in my childhood bedroom, making my European collection. Watercolor and illustration has challenged me, but it also helped me discover a style that now lives in so many of your homes. I’m endlessly grateful for each and every one of you, and I can’t wait to keep bringing more memorable places to life.

Tomorrow is my moms birthday, and I can’t thank her enough for all of the love, support, friendship and growth she’s given me. Thank you to @loungeshopbuf for having me yesterday! I met so many wonderful folks, chatted with some clients who have supported me for a while, and got to pet some amazing dogs. The response for these were overwhelming, I am forever grateful for the support! I’ll announce the next one once I have some more details, in the meantime - keep an eye out on some pots!

Finally got around to making prints of @mikeandpops_buffalo I’ll try to have a couple at Glen Park Art Festival! In the meantime, you can go online to purchase.

Reworked my art dog design to celebrate/highlight my local artists. Although I couldn’t include all of my amazing talented friends, I hope they know they’re just as special! Here’s a little bit about the dogs and their paw-rents businesses: 1. My baby boy Painter, Bro bro/aka the Art Dog OG Broly. He is a lover and a goofball. Loves to hangout in my office while I paint. One of his favorite toys is his Dino baby. He has a such a sassy personality, he loves to talk back. 2. Joe, the Photographer. He is a beloved beagle is a great little spoon for Casi Hall, @omieohmyart, and her family. He loves bunnies. He’s probably trying to photograph them now. 3. Gemma, the Jewlery Maker, is a little pittie, who’s always hanging out with her mom Ashley @ashley_messana_jewelry at @wildthingsbuffalo. Gemma was in Ithaca while Ashley was working a 3 day art show. Ashley bought her from a man on the street on day 2. Shes gotten pretty comfy at the shop, always snuggled up by her sister. 4. Pigeon, child of @mollyillustration, is a talented illustrator, just like her momma. Pigeon almost always has at least one of her paw-rents shoes nearby her. She doesn’t chew them or anything- she just loves having them near her! 5. Eli, the Sewer, baby to Kirsten, @buffalodapperpaws is a fashionable baby. He can be seen going viral on TikTok. Eli is literally an icon in social media, and the bananas him and his pawrents make are the best in buffalo. 6. The Pottery Maker, Muju, the Japanese Chin, son of Rita, @sir.muju_of_blazeville has a brother named Blaze. Muju is very vocal, even the noises he makes when he whips toys across the room is hilarious. He’s probably making noises when he’s throwing pottery down. Hoping to throw on a new tote! The original painted piece of my “Art Dog” piece will be available for purchase. Going to repaint the background and frame it, with the hopes of selling so proceeds can go to the @cityofbuffaloanimalshelter

A very special commission for Forest Lawn Cemetery, celebrating their 175th Anniversary, this Saturday July 12th. It was a pleasure dedicating hours into this piece. Thank you Jen and her team to allow me the privilege and pleasure to create a piece for them. Looking forward to seeing the piece framed. Original painting sized approximately 45”x55” Watercolor, gouache, acrylic marker and metallic marker.

Hi folks! Just wanted let my supporters that due to my workload of customs and needing some personal time, commissions will not be open until September, with more info to come.
