HOW IT STARTED

Samantha Domagala is a painter and illustrator based in Kenmore, known as The Roaming Buffalo Art. She specializes in capturing the charm and elegance of local architecture, showcasing both well-known and hidden gems throughout Western New York. Her artistic journey was first inspired by the remarkable landmarks of Europe, with a particular focus on the iconic sites of Amsterdam, London, Berlin, and Brussels.

Primarily working with watercolor, Samantha also incorporates gouache, ink, and acrylic to emphasize bold lines and create striking, dynamic pieces.

Alongside her architectural work, Samantha takes on commissions, producing custom house and pet portraits that allow her to bring a personal touch to her art.

Western New York remains the cornerstone of Samantha’s artistic practice, with each piece inspired by the unique stories and personal connections she receives from her community. She remains open to suggestions, always eager to learn why a particular place should be immortalized in her collection.
